FRC 2012 is almost here!
Thu, 22 Mar 2012The competition starts tomorrow, and continues the next two days. Thursday is for practice and inspection, Friday is for qualification matches, and Saturday is for elimination matches and awards. We hope you’ll either attend on Friday or Saturday, or watch us via the live stream that can be accessed with the Watch FRC button at the top of the page.
This is shaping up to be our best year yet, and our robot should be able to perform all of the tasks given to us by FIRST.

We are currently competing in FRC (FIRST Robotics Competition). This year’s game is called Rebound Rumble!
Summary:
The Rebound RumbleSM robotics game is played between two Alliances of
three teams each. Each Alliance competes by trying to score as many of the basketballs in the hoops as possible during the 2-minute and 15-second match. Balls scored in higher hoops score Alliances more points. Alliances are awarded bonus points if they are balanced on bridges at the end of the match. In matches where opponent Alliances work together to balance on the white bridge, all participating teams earn additional valuable seeding points.
